2. General information on data processing

We process personal data solely in accordance with applicable law, in particular the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act. Data is processed only where necessary to operate the website, handle enquiries, carry out bookings or protect legitimate interests.

3. Hosting and server log files

When this website is accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data in server log files, including the IP address, time of access, page requested, referrer, browser type and operating system. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website.

4. Contact form and enquiries

If you use the contact form, we process your name, email address, optional telephone number, message and requested travel dates. Processing is necessary to handle your enquiry and take pre-contractual steps under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Technical service providers may be used as processors for sending and receiving email.

5. Online booking via Smoobu

When you select “Book now”, you are redirected to the booking process operated by Smoobu GmbH, Pappelallee 78/79, 10437 Berlin. The selected travel dates and number of adults and children are transferred. Contact, booking and, where applicable, payment details entered during the booking process are processed by Smoobu to complete the booking. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. 6. Cookies and consent settings

No cookies are needed for language selection. Your analytics choice is stored only in your browser’s local storage so that the website can respect it. Without your consent, neither Google Analytics nor analytics cookies are loaded. The external booking process is governed by its own cookie and privacy terms.

7. Google Analytics

If you consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). In particular, page views, interactions, technical browser and device information, and approximate location data are processed. Google Analytics uses cookies such as “_ga” and “_ga_<container ID>”. The service is loaded only after your explicit consent.

We have disabled Google signals and personalised advertising features. The legal bases are section 25(1) TDDDG for storing or accessing information on your device and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR for the subsequent processing. A transfer of data to Google LLC in the United States cannot be ruled out.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via “Cookie settings”. The Google Analytics cookies accessible to us will then be deleted, and Google Analytics will no longer be loaded on the next page view.

8. Storage periods

Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the relevant purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations. The consent choice is stored in the browser for no more than six months. Google Analytics cookies are limited to no more than twelve months. User-level and event-level data is also subject to the retention settings configured in Google Analytics. Booking and billing data may be retained for longer in accordance with commercial and tax law.
